A credit card crook found herself in cuffs after being caught red-handed at a Harris County pawn shop. Magan Sheppeard's shopping spree was cut short when constables from Mark Herman's Office arrived on the scene at a Cash America Pawn store on February 9th.
The deputies were responding to a call about credit card abuse at the establishment on FM 1960 Road, where they spotted the suspect using pilfered plastic to pick out purchases, according to the Constable's Office. Sheppeard was swiftly detained by constable deputies, and her sticky-fingered possession of the stolen credit cards was confirmed during the investigation.
"Magan Sheppeard was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Credit Card Abuse. Her bond was set at $1,500.00 out of the 178th District Court.” stated Constable Mark Herman.
