Houston area constables are urging the public to play detective after a man's bizarre disruptive spree inside a local store. According to Constable Mark Herman's Office, the suspect was caught on camera on February 10, creating chaos at a business in the 21100 block of Spring Towne Drive.
The store owner reported to deputies that an unidentified male strolled in and removed merchandise from the shelves, but the shoplifting scare took a strange twist. Instead of simply pocketing the items, the man inserted them into his rectum and then nonchalantly placed them back on the shelves. The whole sordid affair was recorded by the store's video surveillance system, as Constable Herman's Facebook page reported.
The video leads to the description of the suspect as a white male who was wearing a distinctive outfit during the incident: a black muscle shirt paired with a gray green kilt. Details like this are crucial as authorities are depending on the public's assistance to nab the perpetrator of this pecular incident. Law enforcement officials are clear – anyone with information should step forward.
"If you have any information regarding this case, or the identity of this suspect, you are urged to contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement," said Constable Mark Herman. The plea for the public's help suggests a level of alarm about the nature, of this episode, one where conventional pilfering was eschewed for something more unsettling.
