
Houston area law enforcement swiftly intervened when a man was discovered snoozing in the driver's seat of his car, situated in a moving lane of traffic. The incident, which took place on the 200 block of Cypresswood Drive, brought Constable deputies to the scene where they encountered 35-year-old Ulysses Ealy, evidently intoxicated and asleep behind the wheel, officials said.
in the early hours of February 10th, Constable Mark Herman's deputies averted what could have been a tragic episode on Houston roadways. As they roused the inebriated Ealy, they noticed clear signs of intoxication. A series of sobriety tests ensued, confirming the suspicions of the officers present, per a Facebook post by the Precinct.
Constable Herman disclosed, “Ulysses Ealy was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with driving while intoxicated. His bond is set at $100.00 out of County Court 9.”
