
A botched robbery attempt in a Houston parking lot escalated into a shootout, leaving the suspect potentially wounded, according to police. The incident occurred at the 5100 block of Little York, where the suspect allegedly tried to rob a male victim. The confrontation turned violent with both individuals exchanging gunfire.
In a statement obtained by Houston Police Department's post on X, the authorities confirmed the exchange of gunfire took place and that the assailant may have been hit during the skirmish, the police did not immediately provide information on the condition of the victim or the suspect, they are actively investigating the incident including reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing potential witnesses.
