The disappearance of a Houston toddler has sparked an extensive search as authorities put out an AMBER Alert last week for 1-year-old Noah Mi'aani Jah-sae Johnson. The Harris County Precinct 8 Constable's Office revealed the child is with his mother, Kamilah Antoinette Johnson, and may require medical attention. Noah was last seen on Feb. 6 in the 11400 block of Space Center Blvd., wearing a blue shirt and flower-print pants, according to Houston Chronicle.
Noah was taken from the hospital as Kamilah Johnson intended to seek holistic health care for his condition. However, it has been reported that she did not pick up Noah's necessary medication from the pharmacy, as per KHOU 11. Concerns grew when doctors requested a welfare check from Child Protective Services (CPS), which led to the discovery that the mother and child were missing and had not been at their apartment when deputies arrived to check in.
Updating the situation, the KHOU 11 reports that the AMBER Alert for the toddler has been canceled, but details regarding his condition or whereabouts at the time of cancellation remain scarce. The toddler's health concerns are reported to be serious, and his condition could deteriorate without his medication.
Investigators have received information that Kamilah was seen "loading her vehicle up with clothes and different things, and her children and left the apartment complex," which is becoming increasingly troubling as time passes. Kamilah Johnson is described as being about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 170 pounds, while Noah is 2 feet tall with black hair and brown eyes, and his hair was braided in corn rows when last seen.
