A teenager in Macon has been taken into custody over a fatal shooting that took the life of a 50-year-old Bibb County man, according to law enforcement officials.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported that on the evening of November 26, 2023, officers responded to a call at Lokchapee Landing, there they discovered Brian Matthew Brown with a gunshot wound, Brown's injuries proved fatal and he was subsequently declared dead by the Bibb County Deputy Coroner, these events unfolded leading to the arrest of a 16-year-old boy on January 31, Atlanta News First stated.
The teen, whose identity has been withheld due to his age, has been charged with murder in Brown’s death, alongside three counts of aggravated assault connected to another incident on January 11, in the 3800 block of Tela Place in Macon, a report by WSBTV revealed.
