Two Macon teenagers have been arrested by deputies in a string of gun violence that terrorized East Macon, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office reports. Allegedly linked to three separate shootings, the teens have been taken into custody and are now facing a number of serious charges, including aggravated assault. In connection with a fatal shooting that left a man dead last November, a 16-year-old has been nabbed as a person of interest, with the Bibb County sheriff stepping in to make the arrest. Brian Matthew Brown, 50, succumbed to a single gunshot wound just before 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Lokchapee Landing. Having been pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley, the young male now faces a murder charge among three counts of aggravated assault tied to an additional January event.
