An incident of burglary at a business along the Northwest Freeway has led to an arrest, authorities said. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were dispatched to the 26000 block of the freeway on February 4, 2024, after receiving reports of a man causing a disturbance and attempting to steal merchandise.
The suspect, who was taken into custody upon the arrival of deputies, was identified as Craig Joseph Senegal Jr. An investigation into the events revealed Senegal Jr. had attempted to both damage and steal property in what turned into a botched burglary attempt. Notably, a spokesperson for the Constable's Office detailed the extent of Senegal Jr.'s disruptive actions at the scene.
In the aftermath of his arrest, Senegal Jr. faced serious consequences for his actions. "Craig Joseph Senegal Jr was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Burglary of a Business. His bond was set at $2,500.00 out of the 482nd District Court," stated Constable Mark Herman in a post on Facebook. The precise details regarding the stolen merchandise and the scale of property damage have not been disclosed.
