The incident, which took place on the evening of Monday, February 5th, saw a 37-year-old man shot in the back during an altercation that escalated quickly to bloodshed, according to Chicago police.
The quarrel transpired in the 4000 block of West Armitage Avenue, just west of Pulaski Road, around 6:25 p.m. What began as a war of words turned tragically violent when one individual decided to quickly pull out a gun and shoot the man, as confirmed by police statements.
