
A man was left for dead at a Far Northeast Bexar County apartment complex following a shooting, authorities confirmed today. The lethal gunplay erupted at the Montage Apartments near Gulf Shore Boulevard last night, claiming the life of one man.
According to the FOX San Antonio, deputies arrived at the scene after the incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. A chest shot taken, the victim collapsed downstairs after trying to flee the scene and before he drew his last breath.
Investigators are tightening the net on this case, interrogating two men in connection with the shooting. Details of the confrontation leading to the gunfight remain shrouded as cops probe into the night's deadly events.
Efforts to save the man's life were valiant but ultimately fell short. Bexar County Sheriff's deputies, first on the scene, carried out emergency measures with haste.
