A 30-year-old man was killed in a shooting outside his East Side home in San Antonio yesterday night, police said. Robert Reyes-Rincon was found to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds after an altercation with an occupant of a vehicle outside his residence on the 2700 block of Lake Crystal Street. According to a report by Express News, he was discovered inside his home and rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition, yet despite immediate medical intervention, he succumbed to his injuries short of midnight.

The San Antonio Police Department disclosed that the incident happened around 10 p.m. Reyes-Rincon was outside talking to one or several individuals in a car when one of them abruptly opened fire, hitting him multiple times. The vehicle was then seen to quickly drive away from the scene. As of now, the authorities have yet to locate the car involved and the shooter remains at large, as per information obtained by KSAT.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the death of Reyes-Rincon shortly before 11 p.m. yesterday. The San Antonio Police have not released a description of the suspect vehicle involved in the shooting, which continues to be under active investigation.
