
A dispute that turned into an episode of gun violence rocked Cheshire Bridge Road NE yesterday evening. Atlanta Police Department reports a 25-year-old man was shot following a verbal altercation that escalated dangerously, ending when the suspect opened fire.
The shooting occurred at approximately 8:21PM, as confirmed by police, at the address 1989 Cheshire Bridge Road NE. A statement on the Atlanta Police Department's website detailed that upon arrival, the officers found the wounded man with a gunshot injury to his right shoulder. Despite the trauma, the man remained alert and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The incident appears to stem from a heated verbal exchange that spiraled out of control. The suspect, having pulled the trigger, fled the scene before law enforcement could intervene. The current whereabouts of the suspect are unknown, as authorities continue to seek leads in the case.
