The MBTA Transit Police are on the hunt for an individual connected to an unexpected assault that happened at Jackson Square Station last month. On January 19th at around 10:30 AM, without any apparent reason or warning, this person of interest is reported to have struck two victims with a closed fist before fleeing the scene. The Police are now reaching out to the public to help identify the suspect.
Authorities are looking to piece together information and apprehend the assailant who managed to escape before they could be detained. Anyone who recognizes the individual in question is urged to "contact our CIU at 6172221050 with any info you have," according to the MBTA Transit PD's post. Police have assured that those providing tips can choose to remain anonymous, possibly encouraging witnesses to freely share any relevant information they might have.
