
Commuters faced unexpected delays yesterday morning when a disoriented driver took a seriously wrong turn in Brigham Circle. The reality of city navigation took an unusual detour as a 2009 Mercury made its bewildering journey onto the GL tracks, according to the MBTA Transit Police.
The incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m., with Transit Police responding to the scene shortly after. The car's operator, caught in the labyrinth of urban roads, claimed he became confused and inadvertently ended up on the train tracks. The car, an unanticipated obstacle on the Green Line's path, brought the service to a temporary halt, as stated in a post by the MBTA Transit Police on X.

Despite the potential for harm, there were no injuries reported in the mishap. The misplaced Mercury was removed from the tracks and subsequently towed, allowing the Green Line to resume its routine service and the morning commute to regain its pace.
