Friday is pegged as the warmest day of the current forecast, with the potential for temperatures to approach 80 degrees. A light breeze is also expected, with southwest winds 8 to 17 mph, and gusts possibly hitting 25 mph. For those looking ahead to the weekend, a weak front could bring a slight chance of showers and return the region to morning 50s and afternoon 70s, presenting an almost ideal South Florida winter scenario.
