The Midlothian Police Department has expanded its law enforcement family, adding two new officers to their ranks who were sworn in during a ceremony held at the city's hall. Officer Jacob Rittimann and Officer Klint Valley were welcomed to the department in a private event, according to the Midlothian Police Department.
Both officers, having deep roots in the local area, bring their seasoned expertise back to the community. After spending a brief period with the Fort Worth Police Department, Officer Rittimann rejoins the Midlothian PD, described as coming "home" by the department. Officer Valley transitions to the squad from a 14-year tenure at the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office. Despite the growing family, inadvertently he stands as a testament to the department's commitment to experienced policing.
The Midlothian Police Department expressed pride in the seasoned professionals they have incorporated into their team. The post also extends an invitation to the community to embrace these newcomers to the fold. Both Rittimann and Valley bring "a wealth of experience to our community," as per the Midlothian Police Department.
