The teenager had been missing since January 31, sparking a search that involved the community and law enforcement, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department
On the evening of her disappearance, Rabeka Lin Vallejo was last seen in the 16800 block of Passage Street wearing a gray hoodie, a sleeved shirt with red "SOA" lettering, oversized blue jean shorts, and distinctive black "DC" shoes with pink outsoles. Running away from her well-being, Vallejo's family and the authorities were deeply concerned for her, urging the public to step forward with any information regarding her whereabouts.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department thanked everyone involved in the search for their "tireless efforts" in a statement. The department's message also reflected gratitude towards the media, the Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel who contributed to locating Rabeka, as per LASD - Los Angeles County Sheriffs Dept Information Bureau (SIB)
Authorities had asked anyone with knowledge of the case to contact the Lakewood Station or to tip anonymously through the "Crime Stoppers" program, emphasizing diverse channels for the public to aid in safe returns.
