The altercation escalated from a meeting arranged to complete an online sale into an alleged robbery attempt, leading to one man shooting the other. The victim was swiftly airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, but he was later pronounced dead.
The Sheriff's Office reports that the shooting occurred in the 13200 block of Crosby Lynchburg. The two males involved, whose identities have not been disclosed, met to exchange an item listed for sale online. One of the men allegedly tried to rob the other, resulting in gunfire. The incident drew a rapid response from nearby Lieutenant Calhoun, who detained the suspected shooter at the scene. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez's post on X provided these details in a recent update.
