The big reveal is set for Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 3:30 p.m. at Desert Sands Park, confirmed by the city's own announcement. For the kiddos, this playground is a dream come true. Designed with tykes and tweens in mind, it's got areas for the 2 to 5 age set and the 5 to 12 crowd as well. They're gonna be scrambling up walls, teetering on balance beams, conquering a net wall, and charging up U-turn ramps faster than you can say "playtime". Running up to the SkyRun Zip Track, kids will be zipping through the air in the Zero-G seat – and the best part? Every child can get in on the action.
Palmdale's Mayor Austin Bishop couldn't be prouder, telling the city's press release, “We are thrilled to bring state-of-the-art playground equipment to Desert Sands Park”. This upgrade isn't just a win for fun and games; it's a community specter, injecting a fresh vibe into the area while sticking to the city's goal of crafting inclusive and entertaining spots for youngsters.
