Pearl Jam is hitting the road again, announcing a new world tour and dropping their latest album "Dark Matter", ready to rock their fans worldwide. The renowned Seattle band's fresh release, their 12th studio album set to launch on April 19 via Monkeywrench/Republic, was unveiled along with the new single, aptly titled after the album itself, as reported by Pitchfork.

The chart-topping group isn't just releasing new music, they’re planning a 35-date world tour that kicks off May 4 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and wraps November 21 in Sydney, Australia – a wide-spanning adventure fulfilling the cravings of an international fanbase. They’re slated for massive outdoor baseball stadium shows, indoor arena gigs, even some festival dates at Mad Cool and NOS Alive, said Seattle Times, and what's more, their home stage welcomes them back for two Seattle shows, all accompanied by the echo of their soon-to-be classic "Dark Matter" playlist.

Recorded over a mere three-week period at the legendary Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, under the aegis of producer Andrew Watt, the album was unveiled at a listening event on January 31 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles that the band made sure to attend, shared by Rolling Stone.

Bassist Jeff Ament expressed his amazement at Watt's in-depth knowledge of the band’s history, having worked closely with Eddie Vedder on his solo album "Earthling" in 2022, Ament marveled at Watt's attention to detail in a statement obtained by Pitchfork, "He could pinpoint things we did on old songs to the point where I was like, ‘What the fuck is he talking about?’ His excitement was contagious."
