
The Santa Rosa Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man who was last seen on the afternoon of Valentine’s Day. Richard Cleverly, a 79-year-old white male, was reported missing from the 4200 block of Thomas Lake Harris Drive at around 3:15 PM on February 14th, according to a statement from the Santa Rosa Police.
Officials have released a description of Mr. Cleverly, last spotted wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. Concerns are mounting for the safety of the elderly individual, especially given his advanced age. The police urge anyone who may have seen Mr. Cleverly or knows his whereabouts to come forward. An image of the missing man has been circulated on Facebook to aid the public in identifying him.
Sgt. Charles La Sala, acting as a media contact for the case, has been fielding inquiries and coordinating the department’s response. The police have not yet released any information regarding Mr. Cleverly's medical condition or if they suspect any foul play in his disappearance.
