The ice was tense after Seattle managed to tie the game in the third period, thanks to Jaden Schwartz's one-timer. But, the Wings roared back in OT with Chiarot planting the puck in the net, shortly after the Wings had successfully killed off a penalty. "It was a nice job Ray (Lucas Raymond) and Larks driving the right side and I just tried to find a soft spot," Chiarot told The Detroit News. "Larks made a great little backhand pass to me, and I just tried to shoot it."
On the Wings' side, alongside Chiarot's game-winner, notable performances included Daniel Sprong, Lucas Raymond, and Moritz Seider who contributed with key goals during the game. Not to be overlooked is the contribution by Detroit's newcomer Patrick Kane, who skated into the record books with his 800th career assist on Seider's first-period goal, as outlined in a game recap by Leader-Telegram.
