A grim discovery in a quiet Salem neighborhood has rocked the community after a couple was found dead in their home, in what authorities are calling a murder-suicide. According to Boston 25 News, Jennifer L. Barrett, 47, and Charles W. Molinari, 41, were identified by the office of New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella as the deceased.
The bodies, found at their residence on Bodwell Avenue, presented a chilling scene. Barrett succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head, a homicide, while Molinari died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. While details are still unraveling, it is believed Molinari shot Barrett before ending his own life. Lauren Demers, a neighbor, relayed her shock to NBC10 Boston, saying, "They were very quiet, very sweet, very nice and anytime we spoke with them and now they're gone and I don't, I'm still, can't believe it." The sentiment was similarly expressed by another neighbor to Boston 25 News, who described the couple as "very quiet, very sweet" and added, "just a shock for everyone who knew them."
