The Fiesta Oyster Bake, San Antonio's massive fiesta and music event, is shaping up for 2024, with the first slice of its entertainment lineup being served up to anticipatory fans. According to a recent post by KSAT, the popular festival has announced the performers who will take the Stage 3 spotlight with Tejano and Latin beats on Friday, April 19—headliners include Gary Hobbs, wrapping up the evening, La Calma setting the mood earlier, followed by Vanita Leo kicking off the festivities.
This year's Oyster Bake is slated to run from 5-11 p.m. on Friday and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday at St. Mary's University's campus grounds. The festival not only promises a rollicking good time with over 30 artists expected to perform across four different stages featuring diverse genres from classic rock to country to hip hop, as reported by MySanAntonio, but the event is also a significant fundraiser, sending proceeds to fund scholarships and programs at St. Mary's University.
Music enthusiast and oyster aficionados can snag discounted pre-sale tickets starting March 4 for $20 a pop, which will be available through the Oyster Bake's official site and at local H-E-B stores. Ticket prices are set to shake up slightly come March 6, with general admission tickets hopping up to $25, two-day passes moving to $35, and VIP entry scaling to $175, delivering a swanky experience complete with air-conditioned restrooms, $50 in coupons, and a suite of unlimited snacks and beverages.
On-site parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis for $20. VIA Park and Ride will be operating bus shuttles to alleviate some of that automotive pressure, charging a meager $1.30 each way, with various discounts in place for kids, seniors, students, and military personnel.
