San Antonio residents are in for a mixed bag of weather this week, with meteorologists at the National Weather Service forecasting a range of conditions from cool and windy to warmer sunny days ahead. As the city faces a chilly end to February, the sun promises to fight its way back, easing the shivers and gales that have swept the area.
According to a forecast from the National Weather Service, San Antonians should expect "patchy fog after midnight" later tonight, and while Wednesday will start cloudy, the skies are set to clear, bringing sunshine albeit with strong gusts reaching 40 mph. For those venturing out, a coat will be a must, as the high is expected to rise to near 69 before dipping back down again.
Today's weather is "Cool & Windy" with the temperature standing firm at a 67° high. With visibility at 9 miles and a dew point of 43°, residents are experiencing a brisk day, solidifying the February chill. However, the end of the week shows signs of respite with KSAT projecting a "Mostly Sunny & Warmer" Friday, where thermometers are forecasted to climb to a comfortable 75°.
The remainder of the week appears to be a gradual ascent towards more agreeable weather. The NWS predicts that despite a potentially gusty Wednesday night, Thursday will lead into a sequence of mostly sunny days, with a high nearing 79° by Friday. The weekend continues this pleasant trend, with Saturday's expected high peaking around 83° and only partly cloudy skies during the night. San Antonio's climate looks to settle into a pattern of moderate warmth and mainly clear skies into the next week.
