According to the San Antonio Police, the suspected vehicle involved, a black 2009 Chevy Tahoe, veered onto the sidewalk and collided with the victims before the driver fled the scene.
The young women, whom police revealed were 20 and 22 years old, suffered serious injuries necessitating hospitalization. As the perpetrator sped away from the initial scene, they managed to hit a parked vehicle across the street in a shambolic attempt to escape. In a calamitous string of events detailed by MSN, the same driver additionally slammed into a fence on the 100 block of Valdez Place before opting to abandon the car between Valdez Place and E. French Place.
