San Antonio residents can expect a shift in weather patterns with temperatures on a steady climb as the weekend draws nearer. After a period of morning cloudiness, the skies are set to clear up today, bringing a high of 86 degrees, KSAT reports. Acknowledging the calm before the gusty disruption, the National Weather Service says, "Mostly cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing," with wind speeds thrusting up to 22 mph.
The night brings a shift, winds are calming and residents can look out for a mostly clear sky and cooler temperatures around 56 degrees. The National Weather Service forecasts, "North northwest wind between 7 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph," ensuring San Antonio isn't entirely rid of brisk winds just yet. Friday will keep the sunny streak with highs teetering at 76 and northeast wind gusts skimming up to 24 mph.
Weekend weather continues the sunny, dry disposition with temperatures steadily climbing. Saturday soars to a high near 77, with gentle southeast winds according to the National Weather Service. As daytime heat lingers through the weekend, nighttime lows will settle around the low 50s. Sunday night, however escalates to a low around 59.
The following week begins with high spirits and high temperatures. Monday's mostly sunny sky brings a high near 86, before clouds gather leading into a cozy low around 63 at night. Transitioning into Tuesday, the forecast promises a partly sunny dance with the thermostat peaking at 85 degrees. Yet, the week isn't without its variety, as "Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81," describes the midweek outlook for Wednesday, courtesy of the National Weather Service.
