Last fall, the draught version of the STP was opened up for public comment, and residents didn't hold back. The city has now tweaked the plan to incorporate this valuable input, ensuring the visions from the community are reflected in the final document. According to the official SDOT blog, "Once adopted, the Seattle Transportation Plan will become Seattle’s vision for the future of transportation in the city." The blueprint includes a range of transportation aspects, from public transit enhancements to bike and pedestrian infrastructure upgrades.
Acknowledging partners' contributions, the blog post stated, "Importantly, we also thank our community-based organization partners for their leadership and partnership in developing the Seattle Transportation Plan."
