Seattle Police, backed by King County Sheriff's air support, arrested a suspect linked to a drive-by shooting after a dramatic car chase through the city's streets. According to Seattle Police Department's Blotter, the pursuit began on November 22nd when officers spotted a stolen vehicle connected to a recent burglary and the drive-by incident.

The chase unfolded after an attempted traffic stop near the 4th Avenue South and South Lucille Street intersection. Ignoring officers' signals, the suspect floored the accelerator, leading the police on a high-speed chase. Authorities described the vehicle as stolen and further linked it to a reported burglary.

Seattle police officers were joined in pursuit by King County Sheriff’s Office air support. Pushing the limits, law enforcement employed a PIT maneuver to bring the chase to a halt in the 900 block of Airport Way South. The maneuver, designed to force a fleeing car to abruptly turn sideways, causing the driver to lose control and stop, was executed effectively, allowing police to detain the suspected gunman without further incident or injury.

A search of the halted vehicle revealed more than just evidence of the suspect's involvement in the shooting. Inside, officers found multiple firearms, adding to the gravity of the suspect's charges. Also found inside the car, were three dogs, which were thankfully unharmed in the fray. The 32-year-old male suspect is facing a slew of charges including investigation of drive-by shooting, eluding, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

The female passenger accompanying the suspect during the pursuit was questioned and released on the scene. The Seattle Police Department's Blotter reports that the suspect was booked into King County Jail following his arrest.
