Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is speeding into town at the end of the month. Slated to open its doors on February 28, this entertainment powerhouse named after the Andretti racing family is promising a high-octane experience for Arizonans with a thrill for speed, as ABC15 reported. The original November 2023 launch of the Chandler venue hit the brakes, but the company is now on track to deliver a full-throttle grand opening with freebies including a special YETI tumbler to the first 50 guests and a chance to win arcade play for a year.

But before the rubber meets the road, Andretti is on the prowl to hire a crew of more than 300 employees for its Chandler location, with positions including non-tipped roles at $17 an hour and $11 for those relying on tips, AZ Big Media highlighted—the job fair running from January 22 to February 16 for those looking to shift their careers into high gear. "We’re thrilled to be opening in Chandler soon and are looking forward to welcoming Arizonans who want to be part of our bright, talented, and outgoing teams," Eddie Hamann, managing member of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, mentioned in a statement.

Located at 1712 S. Cooper Rd., the new 95,000-square-foot venue isn't just about burning rubber, it's a high-tech playground featuring a multi-level track for electric superkarts, a swanky arcade, both Hologate and Hyperdeck VR experiences, as well as a dual-layer laser tag arena, and an immersive 7D Xperience Motion Theater according to ABC15’s earlier interview with Eddie Hamann. Guests looking to celebrate various events may also find plenty of space to book, with the structure housing a considerable 6 to 10 thousand square feet of event real estate for corporate events, birthdays, and even wedding receptions.

Apart from competitive pay, Andretti Karting is dishing out a lineup of benefits for full-timers including health insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan, not to mention game and attraction discounts for families of part-timers—for those who join, career advancement and leadership opportunities seem to be on track for the taking. With additional locations in Kansas and Texas also underway set to create approximately 1800 new jobs over the next year, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seemingly going full throttle on expanding its footprint and its workforce.
