The Broward Sheriff's Office reported the abduction occurred just after 9:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of West Sample Road, where the victim was forced into a vehicle by an acquaintance.
The suspect was apprehended after deputies quickly launched a search and brought the assailant into custody from a gas station on North State Road 7 in Margate. Local outlet NBC Miami revealed the victim was later dropped at a hospital by the suspect, though the identity of neither has been released.
