
A teenage boy, yet unnamed, is now fighting for his life following a shooting in Stoughton, Massachusetts, as reported by authorities.
The late-night incident, which unfolded around 11:20 p.m. yesterday, drew Stoughton police officers to investigate reports of gunshots on McEachron Drive near Murray Circle. Police discovered shell casings, but initially, no victims were found at the scene, as detailed by Boston 25 News.
Later, an injured young male was located at Good Samaritan Hospital, suffering from serious gunshot wounds. The victim was subsequently transferred to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, the Stoughton Police confirmed.
No suspects have been identified as of yet, and Stoughton Police are urging locals to comb through any home security footage that may provide leads. "A description of the suspects is not available but police are asking residents in the area to check their home security cameras for any footage," Stoughton Police communicated in statements obtained by both Boston 25 News and WHDH.
