Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office were called to a disturbance on February 18, located in the 229000 block of Aspen Vista Drive. Responding to the scene, they detained and identified Fernando as the suspect. During an argument with home residents, he is accused of producing a knife and threatening lives, causing fear, and committing physical assault, Herman's office reported.

Veediyage Sineth Madusanka Fernando was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault- Impeding Breath, and Terroristic Threat. His bond and court information have not been set at this time.” stated Constable Mark Herman. 

Investigations into the incident continue as Fernando awaits proceedings as he was held at the Harris County Jail.
