Katelyn Hinkle, the suspect in the case, was arrested following a disturbance call yesterday which had deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office rushing to the 14700 block of Palladio Drive to intervene.
Deputies arrived at the scene to find the aftermath of what appeared to be an argument gone awry. A statement posted on the official Facebook page of Precinct 4 detailed the incident, stating that Hinkle had been detained and later was identified as the individual responsible for the physical assault.
Investigations into the incident revealed that Hinkle and the victim had been embroiled in a heated exchange that took a violent turn. According to the report, Hinkle punched the victim in the jaw and left scratches on his neck, an act that led to her arrest and subsequent charge. "Katelyn Hinkle was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault. She is currently awaiting a bond out of County Court 3." Constable Mark Herman said in the statement.
Details about the victim's condition or the motive behind Hinkle's alleged aggression were not immediately available.
