Fraternity house drug bust rocks Milledgeville, as Georgia law enforcement clamps down on illegal substances. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has taken into custody three young men, Drew Charles Courtenay, 19, Joseph Michael Lombardi, 20, and Noah Boyd Petrick, 21, all residents of Milledgeville, for their alleged involvement in drug activity.

Authorities pounced on February 16 during a coordinated operation involving the Middle Georgia Gang Task Force, Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, and local law enforcement agencies, where suspected drugs were believed to be funneled through a frat house. According to a report by the GBI, the search resulted in the seizure of an assortment of narcotics, including marijuana, THC Vape cartridges, THC gummies, and powder cocaine.

The allegations against the trio are serious, with Courtenay facing charges for possession of marijuana and a Schedule I controlled substance with the intent to distribute, while Lombardi and Petrick are charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, and cocaine respectively, all felony offenses.

A large quantity of illegal substances such as suspected marijuana, THC-infused products, and psilocybin mushrooms were recovered from the fraternity house on West Montgomery Street. Additionally, a small batch of suspected cocaine was found during the meticulous search, with all suspects now behind bars at Baldwin County Jail, waiting for justice to take its decisive course.

With the GBI’s investigation still unfolding, more arrests could be on the horizon. In due time, the gathered evidence and case files will be passed to the Ocmulgee District Attorney’s Office, earmarked for prosecution. Anyone with information relating to this case is urged to come forward and can confidentially contact the Middle Georgia Gang Task Force at 478-414-5997 or submit tips through multiple channels provided by the GBI.
