
Tragedy struck a San Antonio neighborhood when a home was engulfed in flames, leaving two individuals hospitalized and the property destroyed. The blaze, which took over the residence on the 21800 block of Dolomite Drive, broke out around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday as reported by FOX San Antonio.
Upon arrival, firefighters faced a single-family home consumed by fire, two people were inside at the time of the incident with one victim suffering from burn injuries the other is expected to be stable, the first responders worked swiftly and managed to put out the fire in roughly 15 minutes. The home has since been deemed a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation, with the San Antonio Fire Department delving into the details to uncover the origins of the disaster.
The health of the victims is a primary concern as one deals with severe burns and the other recuperates from the ordeal, the identity and condition of the affected individuals have not been disclosed at this time. Firefighters who tackled the blaze protected neighboring structures, preventing the fire from causing further havoc.
