In a pair of violent incidents in downtown Atlanta, two men were shot in separate instances around the same time on Thursday night, causing alarm in the bustling heart of the city.
The first incident occurred on Peachtree Street near Wall Street SW, as Atlanta police were called to a report of a person shot just after 9 p.m. Officers from Zone 5 found a man who had been shot multiple times.
