Usher Amps Up Texas Tour With New Houston Date at Toyota Center, Adds to Post-Super Bowl MomentumSource: Facebook/Houston Toyota Center

After a touchdown in a performance at Super Bowl 58, Usher is adding a Houston date to his 2024 "Past Present Future" tour. The singing sensation will be heating the stage at the Toyota Center on Nov. 27, bringing the total number of Texas shows to a solid four.

Previously, the singer had connected with his fans at two Dallas shows set for Oct. 4 and 5, before deciding clearly on a whim to add a third date, Oct. 3 at the American Airlines Center, as reported by FOX 26 Houston. Fans in the Live Music Capital of the World won't be left out either, with two consecutive nights of Usher's electric performances at Austin's Moody Center on Oct. 7 and 8.

The R&B superstar wants to give his home crowd a special nod. "Guess what? NEW CITIES ADDED to USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE," Usher proclaimed on X. "I'm #COMINGHOME to the A-TOWN to kick it all off. Plus, 2 additional dates in Atlanta!" he announced, embracing his southern roots as reported by Houston Public Media.

The man himself packed his recent Super Bowl halftime show not just with his killer moves, but brought friends to the party too, including Ludacris, Lil Jon, Jermaine Dupri, Alicia Keys, and H.E.R. Reflecting on the showcase where he performed, Usher detailed the pressure of the spotlight, apparently all too aware of the weight of the moment. "Don't take the moments for granted because you only get 13 of them," he said, as related by Houston Public Media, talking about that tight 13-minute slot Super Bowl performers get to make their mark.
