UT Austin police are on the lookout for a suspect involved in an assault near the university campus, as they intensified their search since the incident was reported Monday. Officials at the University of Texas Austin Police Department revealed that the altercation took place around 1:55 p.m. in the 2200 block of Guadalupe, not far from the heart of the university, according to KXAN.
A description of the man deemed responsible paints him as a White or Hispanic male in his 40s, roughly 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing nearly 185 pounds, also notable for his medium-length curly, black hair and a mustache. During his last sighting, he cloaked himself in a brown jacket and embraced the shadows with black pants, as per KXAN.
