Looking to pitch in at a local event? The West Metro Home Remodeling Fair is on the hunt for volunteers. The community-focused event, facilitated by the cities of St. Louis Park, Minnetonka, and Golden Valley, is a golden opportunity for neighbors to lend a helping hand.
Whether you're an early bird or prefer the afternoon hustle, two shifts are available—a morning slot from 10:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. or an afternoon session from 12:45 to 3:15 p.m. Organizers are on the lookout for four to five volunteers for each time slot, as stated in a recent bulletin by the City of St. Louis Park.
Tasks include greeting the visitors, distributing fair maps and handouts, tracking the crowd counts with a clicker, as well as counting the number of seminar participants. In addition, these helpers will be responsible for resetting the rooms as needed and providing any other assistance necessary during the event.
