Miami's weather is kicking off with a generous dose of sunshine and warmer temperatures this weekend, as revealed by The National Weather Service. Conditions are set to start mostly sunny on Saturday, hitting a comfortable high near 76 degrees, along with southeast winds blowing gently at around 11 mph.
The evening is expected to maintain the calm with mostly clear skies and lows hovering around the 69-degree mark. Wind gusts might pick up the pace, escalating as high as 21 mph, but that's about the sum of excitement weather-wise for tonight. Looking ahead to Sunday, the forecast anticipates more sunshine with highs creeping nearer to the 80-degree threshold.
Monday's sunshine might be the prelude to a slight chance of showers after 1 am with a 20 percent likelihood of rain, according to NBC Miami. Despite this, the day is slated for a high near 81 degrees and partly cloudy skies by nighttime.
Tuesday's temperatures are predicted to stick close to 80 degrees while a cold front moves in, potentially triggering a few showers here and there. And yet, not much moisture is expected, with only scattered downpours in the forecast. As we move into Wednesday, the front ushers in cooler and slightly below-average temperatures, setting daytime highs in the mid-70s.
The rest of the week continues the trend of mid-70s high temperatures, along with more sun to accompany Miami locals through to Friday. Nighttime lows are anticipated to fall to the low 60s
