Valentine's Day in Worcester was marred by tragedy after a woman was fatally stabbed in a Douglas Street apartment; Worcester Police have arrested a man in connection with the incident. According to a police press release, officers were summoned to the scene at around 5:11 PM on February 14th. Upon their arrival, they found the female victim and immediately attempted to render aid before she was rushed to the hospital, sadly, she was pronounced dead.
The names of the woman and the male suspect have been withheld due to the domestic nature of the crime, the male was on the scene when officers arrived and was quickly detained and investigations are ongoing as detectives work through the details of what led to this fatal confrontation.
