
A gruesome stabbing on a Long Beach street has culminated in the arrest of a 29-year-old suspect, as confirmed by local authorities on Monday. The Long Beach Police Department made swift strides following the occurrence in the 5200 block of East 2nd Street during the early hours of March 3, as reported an official press release.
After responding to an emergency call around 1:06 a.m., officers and firefighters rendered immediate medical aid to the victim, a male adult suffering severe stab wounds to the upper body unfortunately, the victim did not survive the onslaught and was pronounced dead at a local hospital, as backed by details from Hoodline. Witnesses suggested the stabbing incident was the aftermath of a fight between two groups, during which the suspect, now identified as Brandon Nguyen of Huntington Beach, allegedly delivered the fatal stabs before fleeing.
