Hip hop heavyweights from the '90s, including Ice Cube and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, are set to bring the house down at the Frost Bank Center on August 3. The lineup features rap icon Ice Cube, who has since become a movie star and director, and who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with N.W.A. in 2016. His repertoire includes hits such as "It Was a Good Day" and "Check Yo Self." According to KSAT, the rapper expressed his eagerness to return to San Antonio, saying the crowd in 2022 "welcomed him and all the artists in an huge way."
Other acts joining the lineup are E-40, the Ambassador of the Bay, Southern rapper Juvenile, R&B/rapper Amanda Perez, and Chicano rap duo N2 Deep. E-40 is known for his national hit "Tell Me Where to Go," produced by Lil Jon, while Juvenile will remind fans of his time with Cash Money Records with classics like "Back that Azz Up." Perez is excited for her return to a city that appreciates her Texas following, and N2 Deep will take attendees back with their anthem "Back to The Hotel."
