A Dollar General store became a crime scene when an armed thief targeted two female employees and made off with cash and personal property, according to local authorities. The Henry County Police Department reported that the robbery occurred on Highway 155 North in Stockbridge on the evening of March 19th, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
The masked suspect stormed in at around 9:13 p.m., where they proceeded to threaten the workers with a gun, stealing $280 in cash and snatching an iPhone right out from one of the victim's hands, another striking blow to the already shaken employee, said police. In a seemingly well-orchestrated escape, the perp dashed out, possibly diving into a getaway car described as a white sedan, as Atlanta News First detailed.
The police are now turning to the public for help, urging anyone with information to step forward. The investigators are keen to track down this brazen criminal, asking tipsters to reach out to Det.
