Atlanta authorities are on the lookout for Desmond Lindsey and Terrance Cole, two men wanted for questioning in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on January 2. The incident, which took the life of 18-year-old Montravious Pitts, unfolded in the vicinity of Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. The mechanicsville neighborhood, already rattled by violence, is reeling from the targeted attack that also left two other victims wounded.
Police arrived on the scene to find three individuals suffering from gunshot injuries after being targeted by assailants in, a white sedan. The victims, aged between 19 to 21 years old, attempted to escape the barrage of bullets, only to collapse a short distance from their starting point near Windsor Street SW. "They tried to run for safety. They only made it a few yards before collapsing right on the corner," detailed the Atlanta Police Department in a statement obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta.
While the search for Lindsey and Cole continues, the Atlanta Police Department remains tight-lipped about the potential motives or the roles that the wanted men may have played in the tragedy. As reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, officials have not established if there are additional suspects or detailed the connections between the individuals and the shooting.
