Aussie brunch hotspot Bluestone Lane has expanded its empire into The Woodlands, Texas, opening its doors to a market thirsty for its unique brand of java and health-centric eats. The coffee roaster, known for bringing the Aussie staple "flat white" stateside, launched its latest outpost in Howard Hughes' upscale Woodlands Tower—a move signaling the brand's blossoming love affair with the Houston area, as reported by the Houston Chronicle.
The Woodlands marks Bluestone Lane's fourth Houston venture in just over a year, an impressive feat for any establishment in these caffeinated times. “Following the success of the inaugural Bluestone Lane introduced by Howard Hughes in The Woodlands Town Center in 2022, we're excited to welcome the second location here,” Travis Guinn from Howard Hughes told the Houston Chronicle. Infusing local vibes into their design, Bluestone Lane's fresh café nods to The Woodlands' love for nature and art, featuring a botanical-themed interior complete with a central gallery wall, and an outdoors mural by Houston's very own Shelbi Nicole, according to visitthewoodlands.com.
Bluestone's latest spot boasts an all-day "brekkie" lineup, including signature dishes like avocado toast and wellness drinks, which round out an expansive café menu. The health-conscious offerings fit right in with the tower's rebranding to cater to a more upscale demographic notably in the age range of 25-32 year olds, as the Houston Chronicle hinted at. The Woodlands' denizens can also indulge in a savory lunch menu of salads, wraps, and burgers to compliment their coffee fix.
What sets the store apart is its unique segmentation, creating intimate spaces for patrons designed to grow and nourish the local sense of community. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by a verdant outdoor lounge, leading to the interior where communal tables beckon. Bluestone Lane founder and CEO Nick Stone added to the community spirit, saying, “We are excited to continue to grow our community in Houston, and are thankful for the continual support from our locals,” in a statement obtained by visitthewoodlands.com. Pastries, wellness teas, and their famous "flat white" are up for grabs at the new lobby cafe, located at 9950 Woodloch Forest in The Woodlands Town Center.
The company's relentless expansion reflects a dedicated focus on quality and customer connection, a strategy that has earned them over 60 locations nationwide since 2013. The Woodlands café, according to visitthewoodlands.com, will welcome guests daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
