For those planning outdoor activities, such as Easter egg hunts, tomorrow's outlook seems promising. An overcast morning will give way to some afternoon clearing, with temperatures expected to peak in the lower half of the 80s, climbing higher than Friday's temps. The south wind will continue blowing at 10 to 15 mph, with potential gusts reaching 20 to 25 mph. As for the rest of the weekend, highs on Monday could reach a balmy 87 degrees, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms before the skies clear on Tuesday, forecast.weather.gov outlined.

But, the warmth won't last unchallenged. KXAN reports an incoming cold front sets up an increasing chance for rain and thunderstorms Monday evening, starting around the Hill Country area. The Storm Prediction Center has flagged a "Marginal Risk" for severe thunderstorms, with the possible presence of hail over an inch in diameter, and gusty winds that could exceed 55 mph.

Following the front's passage, Tuesday will usher in a strong north wind with sunny skies and highs reaching the low to mid-70s. Though the rest of the week is anticipated to maintain mostly sunny conditions, Thursday is expected to be on the cooler side, with afternoon highs ranging from the upper 60s to low 70s, and mornings could see chillier temperatures in the mid to upper 40s, KXAN delineated.
