The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying a heavyset man filmed attempting to break into a house in the 800 block of Lovela Bend, in close proximity to Culebra Road and Galm Road intersection. According to KENS 5, the suspect, who sports a mustache, glasses, and distinctive tattoos reading "Sofie" and "Rosa" on his forearms, attempted the break-in around 4:30 p.m. yesterday when the residents were inside the home.
The incident was captured on surveillance video that shows the man approaching the residence and knocking on the front door before trying to pry the door open with a crowbar without success, the man then fled after one of the residents started screaming BCSO deputies shared the man appeared to be collaborating with an accomplice who played the role of lookout.
