With a week left until the long-eared, basket-toting bunny makes its yearly appearance, families are scrambling to grab spots for the much-anticipated festivities in Blaine City Hall.

Beginning March 16, the town's younger set can meet the iconic hare. According to the City of Blaine, Minnesota, Government, not only will the kiddos get to press the flesh with Peter Cottontail himself, but the extravaganza extends to March 23 for a special breakfast event. "Spaces are filling up, but we still have room in a few time slots!" the city advised. For those wanting to ensure their children aren't left out, reservations are still open.

More than just munching on carrot-shaped pancakes, these events promise a full spread of activities. The city hall will transform into an Easter wonderland, where after filling their bellies, children can partake in crafts and, of course, snap a memorable photo with the famed bunny. However, both parents and organizers are mindful about crowd control – the number of participants is capped at a cozy 25 per slot, an effort to keep things personal and orderly, as per the City of Blaine, Minnesota, Government.
